Stuttgart  - Serbian striker Danijel Ljuboja was kicked out of VfB Stuttgart's squad for the rest of the season for disciplinary reasons, the German Bundesliga club said on Thursday.

Stuttgart did not elaborate on his wrongdoings, speaking only of two incidents within a short period. The Bild daily said he missed training on Tuesday after a late night party in a local bar.

Ljuboja's contract ends after the season.

The 30-year-old came to Stuttgart in 2005 but never made an impact. He was loaned off to SV Hamburg and VfL Wolfsburg and only a reserve player in Stuttgart this season. dpa
