Lee concerned over attacks on Indian students in down underIt seems that the recent racist’s attacks on the Indian students in Australia has shaken and saddened cricketer Brett Lee to a great extent.

Australian pace bowler Lee is very much concerned over these attacks.

In order to ensure the safety of Indians students, Lee has spoken to the authorities of the Deakin University. It should be noted here that the 32 year old pacer is the brand ambassador of this university.

Giving this information, Lee said: "I have spoken to Sally Walker (Vice-chancellor) about this issue of student safety and her concerns for the welfare of the students who have come to Deakin from India.”

"The University is doing everything it can to ensure the safety of students. Deakin will be providing advice on how to keep out of harms ways, and also counseling for anyone who feels unsure at this time," added the Aussie.

It should be noted here that Deakin one of the first foreign university to open an office in India and Lee is engaged in charitable work through the Deakin India Research Institute.

Lee is very popular in India. Apart from playing for Kings XI Punjab team in the recently help IPL, the pacer is also the brand ambassador of many products used in India. He has also worked with the legendary Indian singer, Asha Bhosle.
