Leaders of Jordan, Egypt to meet at Sharm el-Sheikh
Amman - King Abdullah II of Jordan travels to the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh Wednesday for talks with Egyptian President Hosny Mubarak, a royal court statement said.
The discussions are expected to focus on the latest Middle East developments, foremost the outcome of ongoing negotiations between Israel and both the Palestinians and Syria, officials said.
Abdullah spoke with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad by telephone Tuesday, which the Jordanian royal court said focused on current Arab issues. (dpa)
