Krypton Industries, India’s leading manufacturer of tyres, has entered Chinese market by setting up a 100% owned its first overseas subsidiary unit there.

Under the subsidiary unit, the company will manufacture the same and similar products line as in India.

For selling the products in China, Korea, and other nearby international markets, this subsidiary unit is located at SUZHOU industrial park, about 80 km, from Shanghai and near the city of SUZHOU.

The commercial production of the unit will set in motion from Jul. 16, 2008.

Krypton Industries engages in production of multi-cellular polyurethane tubeless cycle tires with technical knowhow obtained from PolyAir Tires of Canada.

Shares of the Krypton Industries settled at Rs 25 on Bombay Stock Excahnge. The total volume of shares traded was 103.
