Abu Dhabi, 8th Dec. 2008 -- President H. H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received a group of well-wishers on the occasion of Eid Al Adha at Al Mushrif Palace in the presence of HH Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister.

A number of Sheikhs, ministers, top civilian officials, commanders of Armed Forces and Police as well as a crowd of UAE citizens called on the president to congratulate him on the remarkable Islamic occasion and wish him good health and well-being.

Sheikh Khalifa also accepted Eid greetings from Speaker of Abu Dhabi National Consultative Council Abdullah Al Masoud, members of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and heads of diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE.

The meeting was attended by a number of Sheikhs, ministers, senior officials.(WAM/TF)
