Kay Kay Menon's Perception On Stereotype Thinking in Bollywood
Kay Kay Menon,The talented and versatile actor who shot to fame after his role in 'Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi' is now all set to make it big after his recent big release 'Drona'.The reputed actor did not make it to the top with the wink of an eye and had to struggle for 9 long years before his first appraisal.
The actor believes that a talented actor is one who does not hide behind a shadow and takes up any good opportunity that comes his way. Kay Kay said” I’m playing a negative character in the film because it interested me; I never did that type of role before .But that doesn’t mean that I will be doing only negative roles in future”.
He believes that an image of an actor is carved by his work and not his roles. He believes that being a star-son gives you an instant shot to success. But the real success lies in the talent.
Drona, which is possibly the biggest commercial film for Kay Kay portrays him in the role of a wicked Magician called Riz Rizada, who wants to become immortal, but is confronted by Drona (Abhishek Bachchan).
The real test of the film is yet to be seen. But Menon states "I think audience is mature enough .All kinds of films peacefully co-exist. In today's world, there is audience for all kinds of movies".
Menon who has an MBA to his credit is very passionate about acting and started it at the age of 9 years .Eagerly waiting for his appearance in 'Drona' we wish him all the luck.
