Kareena Kapoor In Bhandarkar’s Next!
The newest buzz from tinsel town is that ace Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar has approached Kareena Kapoor to play the lead in his next film.
Bebo, who is already working on big-budget films like KJo's 'Stepmom' remake, 'Agent Vinod' with Saif & Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 3, can also sign up Madhur's film.
If all goes fine, Madhur's film will be Bebo's fourth big film in 2010.
Madhur, as all know, likes to expose truth on celluloid and has directed good women-centric flicks thus far.
The stupendous success of 'Fashion' has encouraged Bhadarkar to direct a hard-hitting, social flick on a more commercial level.
A source close to Kareena said, "Madhur is planning to direct a social film for which he wants Kareena. He loved her in Chameli."
"Kareena has been offered Madhur's film. It's a fantastic, heroine-oriented script and she is meeting him today for a narration. Bebo is very excited to be working with him. They have both been keen on working together for a long time. Madhur had approached her for Page 3 (Konkana's role) and for Fashion (Priyanka's role) but her dates didn't work out," the source added.
Kareena is now hopeful that Madhur is third-time lucky (Page 3 and Fashion being his two wins). She wishes to be part of a National award-winning movie and is making discussions with the director.
We wish best of luck to Bebo for her upcoming films.
