London, Sept 17 (ANI): Singer Jamelia has revealed that she hopes to rekindle her romance with her footballer ex Darren Byfield.

The 26-year-old star, who split from the footballer last month after romancing for three years, said that she is hoping to get back together with Byfield.

“It would be nice to have a reconciliation with Darren but we will see,” Sun quoted Jamelia, as saying.

Jamelia, a mum of two, rubbished off reports saying they broke up because Darren cheated on her.

“Cheating is inexcusable. But that is not the situation I was in,” Jamelia said.

Jamelia, who has a daughter with the Bristol City striker, asserted that she would not date another footballer because they were “competitive about everything”. (With Inputs from ANI)
