Washington, July 18 : A report reveals that the iPhone 6 would be the thinnest ever iPhone with a 2mm thick battery.

Taiwan-based Digitimes on Wednesday said that the battery in the next-generation iPhone has a thickness of only 2 millimeters versus 3 mm for the iPhone 5 series battery, CNET reported.

The report backs other rumors of Apple' focus on the 'thinnest' iPhone 6.

The Digitimes report supports earlier reports, which claimed the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6, would have 2 mm-thick battery, the report added. (ANI)
