iPhone 4 will hit the Indian market by Oct

airtel-iphone4After Vodafone Essar declared its plans of rolling out iPhone 4 in India in June this year, this time its Sunil Bharti led telecom service provider company- Bharti Airtel raking the news.

At a recent industry conference of CII, Bharti Airtel, CEO, Sanjay Kapoor announced about the company's plans to launch iPhone 4 in the country by October this year. He also mentioned that the company is closely working with Apple on the same.

Apple iPhone4 is the latest product from the Apple Computers's stable, and is overtaking its other products like its Macintosh computer and iPod.

This step proves as a logical extension for the Bharti Airtel group as the telecom giant already sells  iPhone 3GS in India at a price band of Rs 35,500- Rs.41,500 for the 16GB and  32GB model respectively.

In addition, with the advent of third generation mobile services in the country expected to be facilitated by the year end, the demand for such high end devices will trigger off.

Moreover at an announcement during the last month, the company executives at US-based Apple Inc has mentioned about the new features in the phone. That includes a sharper screen and video-chat so as to give a tough fight to devices running Google's Android software.
