As expected, Indian stock markets opened positive on Monday. Asian markets were trading positive as well.

Among major gainers were Reliance Industries (up by Rs 20), Tata Steel (up by Rs 6.3), Reliance Communications (up by Rs 4.35), ICICI Bank (up by Rs 13), Satyam (up by Rs 4) and Ranbaxy Labs (up by Rs 3.5).

Real Estate and Technology Stocks were trading higher in early trading session. Suzlon Energy was trading at Rs 55, up by Rs 2.85. Unitech, DLF, HDFC Bank, IDBI and Hindalco were also trading strong.
