What if India was earlier not affluent enough, with a very small car market and may be for that matter, it had never been a preferred destination for the top car manufacturers in the world but for now the things seem to have changed for so called developing country, India. The great Indian auto industry has developed manifold, with it to have stunned the world by becoming one of the world’s fastest growing auto industry today.

Though not earlier but today almost every luxury car maker has set up their base in India. Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, BMW, AUDI, Bentley and Rolls Royce are among some big car brands that have apparently made their way in to the country like India, feeling the pulse of its fastest growing economy. Some other new car makers are prudently preparing their entry into the country with bait to earn enormous profits.

Although till now Mercedes Benz had been the only luxury car provider in India for decades, but for now the laurels it has earned may now be taken over by BMW being the key luxury car leader in India for the past two years, despite the fact that it has made the recent entry in 2006.

Indian auto industry has further got much to render to the aspirants who look over it as a fastest growing market and even many car makers who are currently serving the country seem to have given strong evidence to the aspirants of the growth that Indian auto industry has attained by earning good turnovers.
