India welcomes the launch of LG GB106 and GB110 mobile phones
With the aim to win the hearts of mid- to low-end consumer base, LG has launched two new low-end handsets. The names of these new entries in the LG's lineup are GB110 and the GB106. Both the sets that are equipped with impressive features and offer value for money.
An FM Radio, colour screen and a five-way D-pad, have been provided in GB106, the cheaper of the two. The good thing is that the users won't have to connect the headset in order to listen to FM, since it is inbuilt in the set. This set, capable of 400 hours of standby time and four hours of talk time on a single charge, sports a 1.5 inch 65k color screen, has 1.5MB of memory.
The GB 110, on the other hand may have a slight higher price tag, sports an additional feature of a microSD card slot that supports up to 2GB of memory, besides having the rest of the features of that of GB106. Furthermore, the GB110 also has a VGA camera.
As far as the availability and price tag is concerned, there has been no information, but it is being said that it would be out in emerging markets in this very quarter.
