It is expected that India may get near about 20000 UK visas in a deal which has been signed with the European Union recently. In this deal, the European Union will get trading of an annual 4 billion pounds from India, informed by the media today.

The Sunday Telegraph has reported that under this deal, Britain will have to accept thousands of workers in trade for potentially lucrative export deals. However, there will be an issue as the number of jobless people in the UK stood at 2.5 million.

The report has also mentioned that in the discussion between the EU-India free trade agreements, New Delhi is projecting for between 35,000 and 50,000 visas a year across the 27-member EU states.

However, India has been expecting 15,000 and 20,000 visas from Britain to offer its citizens every year. In France and Germany the visa number were 3,000 and 7,000 respectively as said in the reports.

Moreover, these visas will be given to the highly-skilled workers. In this deal it is expected that Britain would win about half of the proposed 4 billion pounds trade. This will help in a major boost to the bilateral exports.
