Images of iPhone 5 assembled from "leaked" components appear online
A new image of the allegedly upcoming iPhone 5 has appeared on the internet sparking rumors that Apple might soon release the new version.
It is alleged that the image of the upcoming version of the popular smartphone that was assembled from "leaked" components. The image was earlier published with its internal electronics circuit boards and soon spread to blogs and was picked by some technology portals.
The report was earlier published about the device assembled by a Japanese iPhone repair shop. The image indicates that the device will have a smaller dock connector developed for future iOS devices along with a speakers and an earphone jack at the bottom. The chrome and brushed-metal rear cover are also in line with some earlier rumors about the upcoming device.
The Verge today showcased a whole gallery of breakdown and assembly from iLab relating to the new iPhone smartphone. As more and more pictures of the alleged new device appear online, more people have stared to believe that the pictures are real.
The new version is expected to be launched by the company in September.
