ICICI Bank was trading 1.5 percent firm during early trades while HDFC was trading flat. Among other gainers were Tech Mahindra and Bharti Airtel. Indian markets were trading positive during the first hour of trading session with NSE Nifty touching intraday high of 24882 during the early trades.

Among losers in blue-chip stocks were Tata Motors, Tata Steel, BPCL, Tata Consumer Products and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Automobile companies were trading lower with M&M, Maruti, Eicher Motors and Tata Motors among major losers.

Markets could see selling at higher levels as there hasn’t been a healthy correction in the markets for quite some time. US markets closed negative on Monday but the sentiment in global markets is still positive.

Indian markets could see stock specific action in the coming days as many companies will announced quarterly results.

NSE Nifty could see support around 24750 levels but a close below this level could lead to further weakness.
