I Voted: Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, H'wood celebs share voting pics from election day

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 9 : The US presidential election is whirling in its political fiesta and celebrities prove they are also a part of it.

Several pop stars and actors including Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Olivia Wilde and many others posted photos from their respective polling areas to tell fellow citizens that they have performed their civic duty.

Also seen a lot on the pictures, along with the celebs, is the 'I Voted' stickers, some of which are oval in shape and has the same words written in more than five languages.

Swift took to her Instagram handle to share a photo of her queuing up with the others standing in front of the 'Voters entrance'. The caption reads, "Today is the day. Go out and VOTE us."

Lady Gaga took the opportunity to urge more fans by posting a lot of pictures with captions that read "JUST VOTED! And YOU should too! Every vote counts", "DONT SIT THIS ONE OUT WE NEED YOU" and hash-tagged #govote #TellAFriendToVote.

Amy Schumer posted a picture of her sipping coffee with a friend while waiting in the line. She captioned her photo, "Good times and long lines! Don't be discouraged by the wait. The lines move faster than you think."

While Anna Kendrick posed in a printed tee that reads "American woman" with the 'I Voted' sticker on it, Sarah Jessica Parker posted a tidy picture of the same sticker on her white suede blazer. Miley Cyrus also posed with the same label and captioned her Instagram post as "I voted today for @hillaryclinton I am so proud of all of you who did the same! #imwithher."

Rihanna took to her Twitter handle to post a photo of her wearing a pullover that says "I'M WITH HER" and has a picture of her wearing a shirt that has young Hillary Clinton with a cap printed on it.

Olivia Wilde, who recently welcomed a baby girl, captioned "Baby girl's first election. It's a cool time to be alive. #tearsofjoy" alongside a photo of her with the baby and her partner Jason Sudeikis.

Other celebs who posed on social media with the significant 'I Voted' stickers are Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba, Mindy Kaling, Nick Jonas, Halle Berry who wrote "No caption necessary."

'Late Night' show host Seth Meyers, actor-director Elizabeth Banks, Live Scrieber, Patton Oswalt, Trend Micro's CEO Eva Chen and Kelly Ripa were also seen with their respective kids. (ANI)
