Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) has announced the introduction of Hyundai i20 in the Indian market.

Priced between Rs 4.8 lakh to Rs 5.82 lakh, the newly launched ‘Uber cool i20’ is an improved version of ‘'i10’ with large interior cabin and stylish exterior.

This fantastic five door car is available in three variants including the Magna, Sportz and the Asta.

Keeping in mind the well being of its proud customers, the Hyundai i20 comes packed with class-leading safety equipments, which includes high-tensile steel, latest generation anti-lock brakes (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and six Airbags – dual front, side and curtain.  

This fuel efficient car with 1.2 litre, Kappa, DOHC petrol engine with a max power of 80PS@5200 rpm and a peak torque of 11.4 kgm@ 4000 rpm, is designed specifically for the global customers.

This premium hatchback model from the company is available in seven colors – crystal white, black diamond, sleek silver, silky beige, sparkle blue, berry red and dark grey metallic.

While commenting on the launch, Mr. H S Lheem, Managing Director of HMIL stated, “Since the unveiling of the car at the Paris Motor Show in October this year, we have been receiving overwhelming response to the i20 in Europe and it continues to reaffirm the iconic place that our products enjoy around the world.”

According to the sources, the car will be manufactured at company's Chennai plant and it will use the Chennai port for exporting the model to the countries across the globe and meet its worldwide demand.  

Hyundai is India's largest car exporter and second largest car manufacturer that intends to occupy a larger market share in India and diversify its product portfolio.
