HP Launches ‘Laserjet 1007’ & ‘Laserjet 1008’ Printers In Indian Market
Hewlett Packard (HP) has strengthened its laser printer portfolio by rolling out two new printers named, and Laserjet 1008, in the Indian market.
Targeted at home and small office segments, both the LaserJet printers offer up more flexibility and productivity to the users, and at the same time maintain cost-effectiveness.
Along with other features, the printers would have a new, patented smaller toner cartridge and the ‘monochrome toner’ that would help users to print bold, apparent and sharp effigies.
Ajay Rawal, country category manager, Commercial Volume LaserJets, Imaging and Printing Group, Hewlett-Packard India, stated, “As the market leader in the laser printer category (74% according to IDC Q4, 2007), we believe that we must constantly innovate to meet and surpass customer expectations. The LJ 1007 and LJ 1008 with HP’s new patented Spherical Toner, print speeds of up to 17 ppm and a compact form factor is designed to boost customer delight.”
These printers are specifically designed to utilize less energy over an extended period of time, offering fast speeds and quick first page out in order to enhance productivity.
The new P1007 offers up fast printing speed of up to 15ppm, whereas the P1008 prints at a speed of 17ppm.
The ‘No wait, Instant On’ technology allows the printer to deliver the first print page in less than 8.5 seconds from the power save mode.
Moreover, the printers offer flexible networking options in the form of HP accessories.
Both printers are immediately available for Rs 6,699 for the LaserJet 1007 and Rs 8,299 for the LaserJet 1008.
