Himachal seeks professional ethics to lure tourists
The southwest monsoon surely came as a boon for the hill stations in the country this season. Moreover, especially for the Himachal region, the state has got 16% more rainfall this season as compared to a normal season in this state.
It is to be mentioned here that Manmohan Singh, director of the meteorological office said that during the period of June 1 to Sep 28, the state experienced 977.4 mm of rain against the normal of 831.7 mm. It may be noted here that Singh also said that it has broken all records for the past 15 years.
But experts are of a view that the state needs high professional ethics with a view to get the tourists back on the hills.
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said that the high professional ethics will supplement the efforts of the government to lure more tourists. There is no denying the fact that Himachal has been one of the most visited places by the tourists in the past but slowly it has lost its sheen.
The CM also appealed to the people to be friendly to the tourists and asked them to make the best traditional hospitality to them.
