Hillary Clinton to be honored at Wildlife Conservation Society’s annual gala

Hillary Rodham Clinton will be an honored guest at the Wildlife Conservation Society’s annual gala in New York. This year’s event titled ‘Turning Tides’ will take place at the Central Park Zoo. The Clinton Family Foundation has given a donation of $25,000 to the organization.

The group works to protect endangered animals from ivory poaching and other threats. They also carry out wildlife projects. The contribution was made in 2013, shows foundation record.

At the 2014 gala known as ‘An Elephant’s Tale’, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton were invited. The group even honored them for ‘their commitment to conservation and protecting wildlife and wild places’. As per the group, they have always helped in the fight to save the African elephants. At Thursday’s event, Hillary Clinton is listed as an ‘honorary chair’.
