Hero Honda Reporting 20% GrowthJune has been a fruitful month for two-wheeler makers where the market ruler Hero Honda along with third biggest company TVS Motors have gained a growth of 20% and 14%, respectively.

In the same month, the Bajaj Auto had reported a perceptible hike in its sales , 16% year-on-year to 3.67 lakh units, which is a high ever figure for any month of June, claimed the company in a statement. Further, it has notified a nice figure for its exports for the month accelerated 25% to 1.42 lakh units.

In addition, motorcycle sales for the respective month were observed to be up by 14% to about 3.23 lakh units. “Bigger and sportier Pulsar and Discover brands contributed 66% of motorcycle sales”, commented the Bajaj Auto, on Monday.

Besides two-wheelers, the company has also accelerated its three-wheeler commercial vehicle sales and reported a pace of 34%, as compared to the last year figure of 43,830 units. For the April-June quarter, the total sales were observed to be up by 18% to roughly 10.93 lakh units, whereas the exports grew 32% to 4.27 lakh units.

The gains have stimulated the company shares and allowed them to trade up 0.1% at Rs 1,424.70 on NSE during the morning trade.
