Out of action for almost two years, now Dream Girl Hema Malini is all set to rock the box-office with her forthcoming film ‘Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi.’ 

In the film, she will play the role of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindhia (the lively queen of Gwalior and mother of Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje), while another BJP MP and veteran actor Vinod Khanna, will play the role of Jivajirao(husband of Vijayaraje).

A number of politicians including Sushma Swaraj, Gopinath Munde and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje were present on the occasion of film’s mahurat in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Hema Malini said, “It’s a challenging role as its a real role and not a fictitious one. People have seen Rajamta, so it’s very difficult for a artist to depict that. So I am going to meet all her close ones and ape her mannerisms and then only proceed for shooting.”
