HCL Technologies Limited, one of the leading global IT services company, has announced a significantly expanded partnership with Serena Software.

Under the deal, HCL will provide end-to-end product development, sustenance engineering and release management for Serena PVCS Professional and Serena Dimensions RM. HCL Tech will also open a dedicated offshore development center for Serena.

PVCS Professional is one of the most widely adopted solutions in the software configuration management (SCM) industry. It is a comprehensive suite that delivers version, defect, build and issue management, and helps customers reduce development errors, establish repeatable builds and predictable development schedules, and deliver solutions to market faster.

Recently, HCL Technologies Ltd. has unveiled new SAP Revenue Recognition Solution at SAP's SAPPHIRE 2008 event in Orlando.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 263 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 238 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
