Hacker claims hacking into Sony Europe WebsiteJapanese electronics major, Sony has said on Monday that the website of its Europe has been hacked but no data has been stolen by the attackers.

The company said that unauthorized access to Sony Europe Ltd.'s website for professional broadcasting equipment happened on Saturday. It said that the hacker took customer support contact details from the website, which was already available for everyone to view.

Sony said that the hacker used a path only authorized for use by the site's administrator to access the data. Even as Sony said that the attacker did not steal essential data, some reports are suggesting that hacker stole and later published 120 user names, passwords, mobile phone numbers, work emails, and websites from a the website’s user database.

A hacker named, "Idahc," claims to have used a standard SQL injection attack to reach the database and published it on the internet through Pastebin document.
