Gracious Bono waits 90 minutes for a table
New York - U2 superstar Bono was spotted patiently waiting for 90 minutes for a table at a restaurant in New York City, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
The report said that the Irish rocker ordered cocktails and pizza for his nine pals while they waited for an hour and a half for a table at Bocca di Bacco, where they had arrived without a reservation.
An onlooker told the Post: "People of Bono's stature could take a few lessons from him on how to behave in public. He never complained about waiting, paid the 1,500 dollar bill and left a generous tip." (dpa)
