Google updates its URL submission tools
Internet giant, Google has updated its URL submission tools, according to an update on Search Engine Watch’s website.
The ‘Fetch as Googlebot’ tool will make the process of review of new, updated sites and pages of the users, much faster. The users who submit a lot of content or a whole website can submit the page ‘fetched’ by Google an all the pages connected to it will be automatically submitted.
To keep the spam out, Google has placed a limit of 50 on the number of fetches that can be carried out by a user. The company has also added a crawl request form, designed for pages that are not verified.
Google’s Fetch tool will be helpful to users looking to keep their sites updated with time sensitive information by allowing them to get it reviewed quicker.
