Internet giant, Google has overhauled its emailing service, Gmail and is now organizing its e-mails under three tabs under three tabs: Primary, Social and Promotions.

The Primary tab includes e-mails from friends and family, social tab includes Facebook and G+ announcements and Promotions includes LivingSocial updates, banking alerts, etc. According to reports, the company will include advertisements that look like regular emails on the promotions tab. The emailing service also has an `updates' tab containing all the Android updates.

The company has found new way to send advertisement to the users and expand its advertising revenues. The company has assured that it will only send relevant ads and appear in a light yellow and can be easily deleted from the mailbox. The ads are part of the Gmail Sponsored Promotions program in limited beta.

A post on Google's website read, "Sometimes it feels like our inboxes are controlling us, rather than the other way around. All of these emails can compete for our attention and make it harder to focus on the things we need to get done."

Experts have said that as the advertisements will no longer appear on the front page of the inbox, it will have an impact on the effectiveness of marketing e-mail on Google apps users.
