Google is planning to bring a new platform for the TV viewers where they can stay in touch with internet in their television screens too. The company is currently developing the feature and it will be available in the market soon.

According to sources, the leader in the search engine category is now eying to enter the huge market of television viewers. Sony and Intel are believed to be the two partners who are working with Google in this project.

The system is named as "Google TV". In this there will be an in-build prototype set-top box in side the television. This will allow users to surf the web through their television only. By using this machine people can watch their TV channels along with access to the internet, search, social networking sites, YouTube videos and online games.

However, this idea is not new to the gadget market as Apple has already developed such a system. In that particular system, the users have the option to access internet from their TV with options to download movies, songs and videos.
