Global Equities Outlook by PINC Research
S&P500 again slipped last week and continues to be in a short term downtrend. The coming week may see this index coming close to its support of 1230.
Bovespa saw a subdued move last week and continues to trade sideways with a negative bias. Its trend on the downside may be exhibiting bearish fatigue. Upside momentum will gain strength only above 67500.
Shanghai SE Composite - SSE remained subdued as per our projected view last week. The coming week could see it continue with its sideways move with a negative bias. The support level to watch out for is 2850.
Hang Seng - We had mentioned last week that the level of 22700 will remain a support to watch out for. Having conclusively breached this level, the index trades weak in the short term and can see further declines closer to 21800 in this week.
Nikkei - We had projected weakness in NIkkei last week but the declines that we all witnessed was unprecedented. The coming week may see some pull back rally after which weakness is likely to resume.
FTSE met our projected downside target and its weakness still remains. The coming week may witness some pull back rally which can see it come close to 5800 level.
MSCI EMI continues to be in a downtrend and remained subdued last week. The coming week can see the weakness to persist but its downtrend may be tiring closer to 1080 levels.
