The film will be resorted by the United States Academy of Motion Pictures. Ray’s other classics like Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne and Abhijaan has also been restored by the academy.

India to set up 6,000 model schoolsThe Union Government will set up 6,000 Model Schools on the lines of Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools). Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved the scheme on Thursday.

The scheme aims to have at least one good quality secondary school in every block.

In the first phase of the scheme, 2,500 Model Schools will come up in the first phase of the scheme. Those will be established in Educationally Backward Blocks (EBBs) with the help of respective state governments. State Govt. will provide land for the schools.

U.S. Marshalls Seize Tainted Heparin In Ohio The U.S. marshals sent by the Food and Drug Administration seized some supplies of contaminated blood thinner containing material from China, from an Ohio company’s supplies. Eleven lots of heparin from Celsus Laboratories Inc. of Cincinnati were seized from the company that distributes heparin to drug and medical-device manufacturers both in the United States and internationally.

Mike Chappell, the FDA's acting associate commissioner for regulatory affairs said, "This action will help prevent this contaminated heparin from finding its way into the marketplace."
