PAK Court Lifts Domestic Ban On 6 More ICL Players The domestic cricket bans on Imran Farhat, Imran Nazir, Humayun Farhat, Riaz Afridi, Arshad Khan and Taufiq Umar has been suspended.

In a major relief to these players, the Sindh High Court on Monday has allowed them to play in the domestic matches in Pakistan.

With this, the Court, has so far cleared the names of 17 players in total in the local tournaments.

ICC Hold Talks With ICLFormer BCCI president and the current ICC Vice-President Sharad Pawar along with ICC president David Morgan and CEO Haroon Lorgat met rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) chief Subhash Chandra in New Delhi on Monday evening.

ICL wants ICC to recognize it as an official league. From the very beginning, the BCCI had adopted a hard-line approach against the ICL, barring Indian cricketers associated with the league from accessing even their local college grounds. It also used its significant influence within the ICC to ensure other national boards imposed similar bans on ICL cricketers and officials.

WT 20 called off: ICL Executive Board

Indian Cricket LeagueThe Indian Cricket League has called off its World Twenty20 Series because of the latest Terror attacks in Mumbai. Kiran More Executive board member and tournament director said, “We have taken the decision of calling off the rest of the ICL World Series tournament. We believe that it is inappropriate to continue the series under the given circumstances. All players and officials are under appropriate security."

The tournament was left with virtually the semi-finals, and the final to be contested.

The league had already called off Thursday’s match between ICL Pakistan and ICL Bangladesh.

The decision to call off the ongoing series was taken last evening at an executive board meeting.

Speaking on this, ICL Executive Board member, Kiran More said, "We have taken the decision of calling off the rest of the ICL World Series tournament. We believe that it is inappropriate to continue the series under the given circumstances. All players and officials are under appropriate security."
