It’s splitsville for Simon Cowell, Terri Seymour?London, Nov 2 : Simon Cowell and his long-time girlfriend Terri Seymour have reportedly parted ways.

According to pals, the X Factor boss has splashed out 2.5 million pounds for a new home for TV reporter Seymour in Los Angeles. 

Cowell, 49, has also promised to help her as she adjusts to single life. 

Friends say that the reason behind the couple’s split was their hectic work schedules and Seymour longing to start a family.

It’s official: Britney Spears will perform on ‘X Factor’London, Nov 2 : Simon Cowell has confirmed that pop star Britney Spears will be performing on the ‘X Factor’ in two weeks’ time.

Cowell said that the ‘Toxic’ singer would be on show on November 15. 

“I’m really excited about it, because she’s got her act together now and the new record’s terrific,” News of the World quoted him, as saying.

“She’s come back from a very dark place and is a great artist,” he added.

Nehwal will clash with ninth seed Sayaka Sato of Japan in the finals. 

She had no problems in quelling the challenge of third seed Shixian Wang and took just 37 minutes to sent packing the Chinese 22-20 21-12.

Nehwal is the first Indian to reach the World juniors final twice. 

Pak Taliban step up activities in Upper Orakzai

Pak Taliban step up activities in Upper OrakzaiHangu (Pakistan), Nov 2 : The Pakistan’s unit of the Taliban, Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) is learnt to have stepped up their activities in the Upper Orakzai Agency, by abducting at least 10 people including government employees on Saturday.

The Taliban stopped a vehicle at Sarkas and abducted two elders of the Shaihkan tribe, Mir Saeed and Malik Nazeer, reported the Daily Times. 

In a second incident, a serving subedar Ilyas Khan was abducted along with his two sons and two gunmen from the Mushti area. 

Four men of the Ali Khel tribe were also kidnapped.
