Washington, Nov 1: Actress Ashley Olsen is reportedly planning a secret 1 million dollars wedding to actor beau Justin Bartha on the French Riviera.

If sources are to be believed, the couple may tie the knot in the South of France next summer.

According to the National Enquirer, 22-year-old Olsen''s wedding party will include twin sister Mary-Kate, her 19-year-old sister Lizzie and half-sister Taylor, 12, while her two brothers are said to have been enlisted as groomsmen for the event.

"Ashley has dreamed of having her wedding on the French Riviera, and she''s going to ask her favourite designer, Karl Lagerfeld, to create a custom-designed gown...,” Contactmusic quoted a source, as saying.

Indian Overseas Bank gets nods to raise Rs 1100 crore

Indian Overseas BankPublic sector lender Indian Overseas Bank has informed that its board has approved a plan to raise capital of Rs 1100 crore through Tier-I and Tier-II bonds.

The bank will raise Rs 300 crore through Tier I perpetual bonds, Rs 290 crore through lower Tier II bonds and Rs 510 crore by way of upper Tier II bonds.

Yesterday, Indian Overseas Bank has declared its quarterly results. The lender has registered a net profit of Rs 359.01 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, a growth of 12.29 per cent from that in the corresponding period year ago.

Pro-government rally gathers steam in Bangkok

Bangkok - Thousands of pro-government protestors flocked to Bangkok Saturday from the provinces to attend a mass rally in the capital aimed at counter-balancing months of anti-government demonstrations led by the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD).

Bus-loads of people hailing from various provinces headed for the Rajamangala National Stadium, creating traffic jams along Ramkhamhaeng road, to claim their places at the much-anticipated "Truth Today" demonstration the highlight of which promises to be a message from Thailand's fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Thaksin, currently in Hong Kong, was scheduled to deliver a message to the audience at 9:30 pm Saturday in a pre-recorded video, according to organizers of the event.

NDTV inks pact with UK-based ITV

New Delhi Television LtdNew Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) has informed that the company has entered into agreement with U. K.-based ITV.

Under the arrangement, the NDTV would offer telecast rights of its general entertainment channel, Granada TV, across India and other South Asian countries.

In addition, NDTV would also offer Granada TV’s contemporary dramas, like Prime Suspect, The Jeremy Kyle Show, The Friday Night Project, Ballroom Bootcamp, Airline and Vroom Vroom. Initially, the channel would be broadcast in English, with local sub-titles to be available in launch markets.

Musharraf told Shujaat Hussain, Pervaiz Elahi and Wajahat Hussain that he currently had no intention to enter politics because he and his family did not think it was the right time for him to do that, the source said.
