London, Nov 8 : Britons surely know how to remain happy during troubled times, for a new survey has revealed that nine out of ten people are positive despite rising unemployment and the threat from the worst recession.

The report by the National Social Marketing Centre and University College London says "in general, Britain is a happy nation."

Nearly 70 per cent of those questioned expect more positive than negative experiences.

The survey involving 1,994 people showed that high earners, with a salary above 30,000 pounds a year - were the happiest with an 80 per cent rate of optimism.

In a survey of 16 to 24-year-old females, ‘Bravissomo’ bra company found that the ‘Girls Aloud’ singer, who they think is a 28F, left behind a group other celebrities to land the title.

“Cheryl’s boobs are indeed fab. We estimate she’s around a 28F bra size - but it’s a shame so many young women aren’t happy with their own breasts,” the Sun quoted Jo Lee, the marketing director, as saying.

This week audience voted out Diana Hayden from the house of Bigg Boss 2.

Other member in the dumping zone was Ashutosh Kaushik.

The former Miss World Diana Hayden was the ‘most adoring’ participant of the show. She grabbed eyeballs with her nearness with another challenger in the house, Aushutosh Kaushik that added ‘colour’ and ‘drama’ to the reality show.

Diana was one of the late celebrity contestants to join the reality show.

Washington, Nov 8 : Mum-to-be Ashlee Simpson has grown-up from the moment she learned that she was pregnant, says her dad.

Joe Simpson revealed that his daughter turned into a full fledged women the moment she learnt that she was expecting her first child with hubby Pete Wentz.

“The day she found out she was pregnant, she became a woman," People quoted Joe, as saying.

Islamabad, Nov 8 : Pakistan’s Indus Water Commissioner Syed Jamaat Ali Shah has reportedly alleged that India had violated the Indus Water Treaty by filling the Baglihar Dam in less time than prescribed.

In an interview with the PTV, Shah said that India had filled the Baglihar Dam in 10 days instead of 60 to 70, causing water shortage in the Chenab River.
