Seoul  - South Korea's 621-troop deployment to Iraq is completing its withdrawal after four years assisting the US war effort, the military said Wednesday.

The troops engaged in reconstruction work are to be received upon returning home Friday by Defence Minister Lee Sang Hee and attend a ceremony hosted by Prime Minister Han Seung Soo after getting a medical checkup, officials said.

"The ceremony will mark the official disbandment of the Iraqi mission that was launched in September 2004," Defence Ministry spokesman Won Tae Jae said.

The contingent consists of the Zaytun Unit, currently stationed in the northern Iraqi city of Irbil, and its Kuwait-based air support unit.

Satyam Computer lost nearly 30% during early trading session. In domestic market, the stock touched a 52-week low of Rs 151 on NSE and a 52-week low of Rs 156.85 on BSE. Till 11.50 pm IST, 4.8 crore shares on NSE and 1.8 crore shares on BSE exchanged hands. The stock closed yesterday at Rs 226.55 on NSE. Average trading volume on NSE is 48 lakh during the past two weeks.

Islamabad, Dec. 17 : The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has reached a conclusion that the attackers had come to Mumbai from Pakistan.

The dawn quoted FBI sources as saying that the plan was hatched in Pakistan and terrorists were provided necessary training by Laskar-e-Taiba, according to the investigators.

US investigators also concluded after interrogating the lone captured suspect, Ajmal Amir Kasab, that Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence was not involved in the Mumbai attacks.

Diplomats said agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation were allowed to interrogate Kasab for nine hours during which they had established that he was a Pakistan national.

The buy back of equity shares of Rs 2 each has been approved by the Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd at a price not exceeding Rs 100 per share, aggregating to Rs 180 crores.

The maximum number of shares to be bought back, which represents 14.29 per cent of the paid up capital, should not exceed 3,50,00,000. Furthermore, the promoter holding shall not exceed 75 per cent of the paid up capital post buy back. 1,00,00,000 is the minimum number of shares to be bought back.
