Mindy McCready ‘attempts suicide’

Mindy McCreadyWashington, Dec 18 : American country music singer Mindy McCready is said to have made an attempt at suicide and has been hospitalised in Nashville.

According to The New York Daily News, McCready was taken by ambulance from her home to the hospital where she is being treated for wounds on her wrists.

"We responded to a ''10-63,'' that''s a suicidal person call. Mindy McCready was at the house," Fox News quoted Kris Mumford, a Nashville Police Department spokeswoman, as telling the Daily News.
