London, Jan 21: Glamour model Katie Price a. k. a. Jordan says that rapists should be punished by being raped.

Jordan, who also agrees with the death penalty, believes in dealing out the same kind of punishment to the perpetrator.

"The way I see it is an eye for an eye," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"So if someone rapes a girl he should be bent over and the same thing done to him. I'm sorry that's just the way I feel. I'm very strict.

"If someone is done for drink-driving they should have their licence taken away for life.

Bird flu outbreak in India's Sikkim state

Bird flu outbreak in India's Sikkim state New Delhi - Indian authorities on Wednesday confirmed an outbreak of avian influenza in the north-eastern Sikkim state.

A federal Health Ministry statement said local authorities formally notified all agencies concerned about an outbreak of avian influenza in the Hospital Road area of Ravongla town in South Sikkim district.

A rapid-response team reached the Sikkim capital Gangtok and was assisting state health authorities in containment measures, it said.

Sharif to campaign in Sindh despite Murree declaration

Karachi, Jan 21: PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has decided to tour the PPP's strongholds in Sindh in February, setting aside an understanding reached under the Murree Declaration that the later would not interfere in the political matters of Punjab, while the former would keep itself away from the political matters of Sindh.

Sharif has decided to tour Sindh in the first week of February in connection with the party's political campaign, sources said.

They said the PML-N developed grievances over the judges' issue and the PPP's style of politics in Punjab, and believe that the PPP is directly interfering in political matters of the state.

Dollhouse decorated by Charlotte Bronte goes under the hammer

London, Jan 21: A dollhouse, believed to have been decorated by Jane Eyre author Charlotte Bronte, is going up for auction.

The little house, which comes complete with its miniature furniture and dolls, is part of a two-day auction of the private collection of antique dealer Roger Warner.

Andrew Waters, Christies' director of private collections and country house sales, has revealed that this is a unique piece of Bronte's.

"I am not aware of any other recorded item that has been decorated by Charlotte Bronte, which gives this piece a unique and charming personal connection with such an iconic figure," the Telegraph quoted him as saying.
