She's is the lesser known of the Hindujas, having positioned herself as a behind-the-scenes person in Bollywood. But, make no mistake, Satya Hinduja is as talented and dynamic as her illustrious family. Yesterday, Ashok Hinduja's younger daughter, the female voice of the hit film track Fashion Ka Jalwa, made her unique solo debut Staircase — an original piece of music she composed for good pal and author Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi's second novel — The Lost Flamingoes of Bombay.

Australian minister to rejoin Midnight Oil for bushfire appealSydney  - Federal Environment Minister Peter Garrett will lead his former rock band, Midnight Oil, at a star-studded benefit concert to be held in aid of Victoria's bushfire victims in Melbourne on March 14.

Garrett will reunite with his band for the concert, which will include American rockers Kings of Leon and iconic Australian band Hunters And Collectors, amongst others at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Midnight Oil last played at the WaveAid tsunami fundraiser at the Sydney Cricket Ground in 2005.

Boman rescues Imaad

Naseeruddin Shah's son Imaad can't dance. However, we've learnt that this young actor, who wants to learn some moves, has been secretly taking dancing lessons from none other than Boman Irani. Well, here's a piece of info - Boman is a very good dancer in real life.

Imaad realized while shooting for Sooni Taraporewala's Little Zizou, which is a Parsi comedy film, that it was Boman who could be a dear friend and mentor when it came to dancing. Boman's character in the movie is that of a fun loving Parsi who loves to do the salsa.

Cape Town turns into battle zone

The streets of Cape Town resembled a battlefield a few days ago. Well, it was not a real battle that was going on, but the shooting of Acid Factory.

Writer-turned-director Suparn Verma reveals that the explosions on the streets in broad daylight on a normal working day were necessary to give an authentic feel to the action sequences.

He says, "We shot in different locations in Cape Town during the daytime as well as at night. The streets were cleared even on a busy day during the week since we were shooting action sequences involving blasts and explosions. Cape Town certainly wore a deserted look."
