Finally, Gauri Khan is appearing on the sets of Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om, which will release on November 9, this year. The film director, Farah Khan said Gauri didn’t want to put much effort for her shot in the upcoming movie. The scene requires Gauri to walk a red carpet for a song at the end of the movie as the credits come on.

After the huge success of Main Hoon Na, released in 2004, Farah had desired to do Happy New Year, but scrapped the plan to do Om Shanti Om. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar, and the lyrics by Javed Akhtar.

The movie is based on rebirth and its shooting started in January this year at different Indian locations. More than 30 stars are putting in their guest appearance comprising Malaika Arora Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Tushar Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Dino Morea, Kajol, Lara Dutta, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Juhi Chawla, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Amrita Arora, but the Gauri’s appearance in the movie is the most talked about.

Ketan Nagpal, a bookshop owner said, “India is a cinema crazy nation where people follow not only the on-screen lives of the stars but also their off-screen lives. People are really excited about the news that Gauri Shah Rukh Khan will appear on the big screen for the first time as they have never seen her act before. Moreover, she is considered to stay away from the limelight most of the time. This has increased their eagerness to see the Badshah’s queen making an appearance.”

Farah said that Gauri was supposed to make a guest appearance in her previous film but had pulled back of it. This time Shah Rukh has finally influenced her. Mrs. Gauri Khan is known for her stylishness and dignity.

The stunningly beautiful Gauri has often caught the eye of various filmmakers plus ad makers but all have approached her only to be refused. For Farah, it has been a big success to persuade Gauri to make guest appearance in her film.

Farah further intends winning over the alluring diva to do an entire song in her next movie.

Media manager in a leading company, Anjum Mathur, said, “It will be a treat to watch the much talked about but rarely spotted Gauri Khan in Om Shanti Om. She is a very charming woman and emits an aura of grace and sophistication. She is known for her style and classy manner.”

Shahrukh Khan is happy with Gauri’s decision. He thinks that Gauri has a unique style sense, which is totally her own and she can present the character very well.
