Fujitsu launches two ultrabooks in India

FujitsuGlobal IT services provider, Fujitsu has announced the launch of two new ultrabooks U772 and UH572 in the fast growing Indian market.

LIFEBOOK U772 Ultrabook features, which is a more expensive model among the two, features 14-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The users will be able to choose from 3 CPU options, include 1.7 GHz Core i5-3317U, 1.8GHz Core i5-3427U or 2.0GHz Core i7-3667U processors. The Ultrabook weighs just 1.4 kgs and is just 15.6 millimeters thick.

The Fujitsu Lifebook UH572 features a 13.3-inch LED backlit display with resolution of 1366x768 pixels. Buyers can choose from a 1.7 Ghz Core i5-3317U or a 1.9 GHz Core i7-3517. The device weights just 1.6 kgs and is only 18 milimeters thick.

Both the tablets can support eiehr Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Home Premium. The LIFEBOOK U772 is powered by Intel QM77 chipset while the LIFEBOOK UH572 is powered by Intel HM76 chipset. The pricier model has a battery life of about 10 hours while latter has a battery life of 7.5 hours.

The Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U772 comes with a starting price of Rs. 75,900 while that of LIFEBOOK UH572 start from Rs. 65,000.
