Fujifilm Rolls Out FinePix F200EXR With Super CCD EXR

Fujifilm Rolls Out FinePix F200EXR With Super CCD EXR Fujifilm has got another reason to be back in the news.

Fujifilm has announced new FinePix F200EXR camera, which covers up a variety of features including high-speed burst shooting as found in prior higher-end models from Fujifilm.

FinePix F200EXR, the new high-end digital point-and-shoot camera, has a 12-megapixel Super CCD EXR sensor and a 5x optical zoom that can handle wide-angle shots.

According to company, the Super CCD EXR sensor helps increase the quality of a picture. The new cameras from Fujifilm had got three modes:

1st Mode: Fine Capture employs all the megapixels to capture the most details under the best conditions,
2nd Mode: Pixel Fusion captures as much light while minimizing the noise,
3rd Mode: Dual Capture for a wide dynamic range (capturing different exposures and then combining them).

Apart from this, the new camera also include a 3-inch LCD, which help it to capture high definition video at 1,920x1,080, and film simulation modes to mimic the quality of analog movie.

There’s also a smart flash to help avoid washed-out shots, face detection that automatically removes red eyes while detecting up to 10 faces, dual image stabilization, continuous shooting, fast playback, portrait shots, dual shot mode (shoots two photos at once, one with flash and one without), and underwater white balance adjustment. Add to this, the camera also features an EXR Auto mode, which helps the user to automatically choose which of those three modes to use.

While talking about the new camera, Mr. David Troy, marketing manager, Consumer Digital Cameras, Electronic Imaging Division, FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc said, “There is strong demand in the digital camera market to increase the number of pixels on a sensor, which, all too often, is used as a convenient yardstick for image quality.”

“Consumers have realized there's more to a good picture than just the number of MegaPixels, and with our Super CCD EXR sensor we prove that true image quality is about a combination of many factors like tone, hue, color fidelity, dynamic range, sharpness, and resolution -- all brought to life vividly in the FinePix F200EXR,” Mr. Troy added.

With a list price of $399.95, the trendy and distinctive camera thus stands apart from others.
