Four city students top CS exams

Four students from Jaipur have secured positions among the top 10 scorers in exams of different Company Secretary (CS) programmes.

The results of CS courses were declared on Wednesday by the Institute of Company Secretary of India.

Megha Garg achieved 3rd rank in the foundation programme while Ravi Mansaka stood 2nd in the executive programme at national level. In the final year course, Omprakash Kasera and Raghav Bajaj bagged 2nd and 6th positions respectively. Gagan Jain, a student from Pali, secured first rank in the final programme of the CS course.

CS Institute had conducted the exams in December 2008, in which around 1,250 students had appeared from the city. Out of them, 750 have cleared the various CA programmes. Elated Ravi Mansaka said, "Though I was expecting a good score, but had not thought of getting 2nd rank."

Mansaka credits his success to his parents and sister's family members with whom he lives in Jaipur. Shyam Agrawal, chairman, Institute of Company Secretary of India, Jaipur branch, said, "It's the third consecutive year when Jaipur students have fared well in the CS examinations.
