Ford India has started accepting bookings for the upcoming Ford EcoSport model in the Indian market with a sum of Rs. 50000 in the country.

The Ford EcoSport will be offered din the country with three engine variants. The entry level variant will come with 1.5 litre petrol engine that also powers Fiesta. The second petrol engine variant will be powered by the much publicized Ford EcoBoost 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine while the third the Fiesta's 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine.

The Ford Ecosport will be sold in four trim levels- Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Plus. Ford has been displaying the new upcoming model in Mumbai and Delhi as well as other cities including Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kochi, Ludhiana, Chennai, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hyderabad in the coming days.

Ford India Private Limited (FIPL), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of American auto maker Ford Motor, had put in a lot of effort to promote the vehicle before its launch in the country. The company launched the new commercial for the EcoSport Discoveries contest on all popular TV channels. The commercial is aimed at generating huge response for the company's contest to promote the new model in the country.
