Food inflation diving by 12.63%For the week ending June 26 the food inflation dived down to 12.63% on the low priced potatoes and onions, however the same has pushed in some sigh of relief to the consumers as the fuel inflation busted up by 18.02%, putting the pressure on complete prices. During the previous week the food inflation was swinging at 12.92% and fuel inflation on 12.09%.

Reciting the hike in fuel inflation which was almost expected, DK Joshi, the chief economist of Crisil, voiced that this shall be mirrored in the complete inflation statistics by July, if not June.

Further the whole inflation, that entailed food and fuel inflation, which was 10.16% in the month of May.

On June 25th the government hiked the prices of petrol and diesel which shot up to Rs 3.50 a liter, moving ahead in the similar arena the price of the LPG and kerosene were inclined by Rs. 35 per cylinder and Rs 3 a liter accordingly.
