Five Air India flights delayed; two by over 24 hours

Air India Flights Delayed at Indira Gandhi International Aiport
Passengers of five Air India flights were stuck on Indira Gandhi International Airport due to technical snags. The Passengers on Delhi-London-New York and Delhi-Abu Dhabi-Muscat flights were worst effected as the flights were delayed for more than 24 hours.

Air India spokesperson D. K. Kohli said that due to Technical problems, the five flights were delayed. AI-8914, AI-187 and AI-348 were also delayed by several hours.

The Passengers protested at the Airport as the authorities were not very friendly to the passengers. Also, the airline officials did not inform the passengers about how worse the situation could get. The Passengers were waiting on the Airport which offers limited facilities.

The airline made no arrangements for food and water for all the passengers who had to wait on the airport due to issues from technical staff. The junior staff members, present at the Airport, had no information about re-scheduled flights.
