Finally, US welcomes Sony Ericsson Xperia X1a
The people residing in United States, who wanted to get their hands on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1a, can be happy now, since the handset can now be purchased in the US through Sony Style, although this comes with a delay of around a month.
As per reports from an exclusive news website, then the official Sony US store now has the high-end Xperia X1a Windows Mobile smartphone in stock, and it can be acquired not only online, but also from some retail locations.
It has been further learnt that the price of the set in the US would be $799, however it seems that the actual price, the one that would also include all taxes, is of $867.
It might be quite interesting to know Sony Ericsson Xperia X1a that comes with North American HSDPA support has a similar design to that of the original X1.
Since the initial launch date was delayed from November to the end of December, and now to January, the users in North America had to wait for quite some time.
It has also been learnt from reliable sources that by the end of this year, Sony Ericsson is also expected to launch the Xperia X2, which will be manufactured by Mobinnova, a subsidiary of Foxconn.
