Fertiliser Scrips In Limelight, RCF Leads Gainers In 'A' Group
Today, fertiliser scrips commanded the gainers list. Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF) zoomed 20% to Rs 54.05 and lead the gainers in ‘A’ group. The company will declare Q1 June 2007 result on 25 July 2007. National Fertilizer, Exide Industries, Fertilisers & Chemicals Travancore and Thermax are among the other gainers.
According to the recent Indian meteorological department’s (IMD) investigation, the monsoon is likely to be average across the country. This does in favor for whole fertilizer segment because sector’s fortune hinges upon the monsoon in the country.
The fertilizer scrips normally get active and see motility in this quarter of the year, as they gain majority of their earnings during this time period.
National Fertilizer surged 19.74% to Rs 36.40 and placed second among top gainers in ‘A’ group. It will declare its first quarter results on 30 July 2007.
Exide Industries gained 16.14% to Rs 54.70 and stood third among top gainers in ‘A’ group. Its net profit rose 84% to Rs 70.11 crore in Q1 June 2007 against Q1 June 2006. In Q1 June 2007, the company’s sales arose 50.51% to Rs 663.92 crore over Q1 June 2006. It declared Q1 results during market hours today.
Fertilisers & Chemicals Travancore (FACT) climbed up 9.76% to Rs 25.30 and came fourth among top gainers in ‘A’ group. FACT will declare its Q1 June 2007 result on 21 July 2007.
Thermax sprout 9.22% to Rs 618.15 and stood fifth among top gainers in ‘A’ group. The company will announce Q1 June 2007 result on 25 July 2007.
