American sportsbook operator FanDuel has announced the signing of a partnership deal with the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) to become an authorized gaming operator of the association’s motorsports series. FanDuel said that the partnership deal signed by the two entities spans several years, but the company declined to reveal the deal’s financial terms. Under the terms of the deal, the sportsbook operator will leverage a former racing car driver and current on-air personality to make the world know about its NASCAR sports betting/wagering menu.

In addition to its deal with auto racing sanctioning & operating company NASCAR, which is best known for stock car racing, FanDuel has actually brought on NASCAR racing icon and FOX analyst Clint Bowyer as its ambassador. He will be responsible for engaging car race fans by promoting FanDuel NASCAR offerings.

In the U.S. gaming market, FanDuel is the largest online sportsbook operator. The largest chunk of the operator (95 per cent) is owned by Dublin-headquartered Flutter Entertainment.

FanDuel also enjoyed a 70 per cent rise in NASCAR bets placed on the platform.
