Facebook, Twitter to come up with location info featuresThe New York Times has reported that the social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter are now ready to provide some extra features for their uses. Both the companies are preparing to come up with some fresh features that will allow the users to share his location with friends at any time.

According to sources, the most popular tweet feeder, Twitter is all set to roll out the new feature any time, while Facebook is considering the new application carefully.

It is also expected to bring the location based features, most preferably in next month. Experts believe that Facebook might introduce the product at F8 developer conference in the month of April. Facebook has named the application as Geo-location feature.

However, Facebook has over 400 million users across the globe while Twitter has just crossed 10 billionth feed last week. Over 50 million feeds are being posted in its site per day. Tweets on 3rd party clients-location have already been included in the Twitter's feature list earlier. The current location information feature is expected to target small business advertisers in the social network arena.
